How rates are set

Equipment financing rates depend on your credit profile, time in business, the age and type of equipment, and the term you choose.

Choosing a term

Longer terms lower the monthly payment but increase total cost. Most equipment finance agreements run 36 to 60 months.

Down payment

Many businesses qualify with little or no money down. A larger down payment typically improves your rate and approval odds.

What happens after you hit apply

The same four steps whether you are financing a walk-in cooler or a full food truck build. Here is how long each one takes.

  1. Step 01

    Apply online

    About 5 minutes

Legal business name, address, EIN, your ownership details, and what you are buying with the amount. No paperwork to print, and it does not affect your credit score.

  2. Step 02

    Get a pre-qualified amount

    Same day in most cases

We run a soft credit pull and review your file, then come back with a number and a monthly payment in plain English. If something is missing, we tell you exactly what and why.

  3. Step 03

    See the terms in writing

    Right after you pre-qualify

Amount financed, monthly payment, term length, buyout and every fee on one page. You compare it against your cash flow before you commit to anything.

  4. Step 04

Sign, and we pay your vendor

    As soon as you sign

You e-sign and we pay your dealer or builder directly, then they release the equipment. Building something new? We can fund the deposit so the build starts now instead of later.

Financing a food truck?

New or used truck, kitchen build-out, generator, wrap and POS all go into one agreement with one payment. Example: an $85,000 build with 10% down over 60 months works out to about $1,720 a month at a 680–719 credit profile. Builders are usually paid a deposit so the build starts while the paperwork finishes.
